Stretch & Strengthen: A great class for dancers looking to improve their stamina, turn-out, control, extension, and over-all technique. Dancers normally excel in either flexibility, or strength & control. This class helps to bridge that gap for both types of dancers, making them a well-rounded, better dancer.
Broadway Dance: A dance class that focuses on Broadway dance styling. This class uses Broadway music and teaches students how to use dance to act out their favorite musicals!
Poms: A dynamic class which teaches dance and drill team style moves. These classes teach sharp, clean motions through across the floor and pom combinations. Teamwork, flexibility, and various jumps and turns are an emphasis.
Creative Movement: A half hour class which introduces basic rhythms and movements in a fun, nurturing environment. In a playful atmosphere, children discover the joy of dance while developing basic motor skills, coordination, individual creativity, and basic dance terminology.
Pre-Dance Combo Class: A one-hour class that includes both ballet and tap. Combination classes help children to explore the basic elements of dance while having fun moving, and hearing a variety of music. This class will help students develop concentration, music appreciation, social skills, self-confidence and coordination. Basic ballet positions are taught, as well as basic tap technique.
Hip-Hop for Tots: A half hour class which introduces fun rhythms and movements to their favorite high-energy music.
Ballet: Students are being introduced to formal study of classical ballet through age appropriate skill development, creative expression and the relationship between music and dance. Using French terminology, young dancers learn the vocabulary of classical ballet, technique and emphasis on body placement.
Hip-Hop: A fun and funky dance class that incorporates rhythmic movement to popular music of today. Hip-hop is a high-energy dance form which will keep students in shape as they learn new upbeat moves.
Tap: Students learn tap terminology and to apply rhythm and timing into a tap routine. Tap dance develops a keen sense of rhythm and timing, as well as control, balance, and coordination.
Jazz: Various forms of movement and wide terminology utilized in this form of dance. These classes focus on increased flexibility, musicality, control and balance, and progression of dance steps across the floor.
Jumps, Turns & Leaps: An exciting class in which students are introduced to a variety of jumps and leaps from many styles of dance. This class also focuses on building technique for turns and balance. A great class to build stamina, work on balance & control, and improve overall technique.
Lyrical/Modern: Contemporary dance movements with self-expression.
Dance Basics Mixer: A fun class designed to introduce the basics of a new dance style each week! Experience the excitement of learning new dances!
Yoga: This 60-minute class will help improve your strength, flexibility, and focus to carry out your daily activities.
Zumba: The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got a Zumba class!
Zumba Combo: A total body workout that includes a Zumba class and a Zumba Toning class, jam-packed into a 1 hour and 15-minute long session! A great way to kick off your week!
**Please note: the Zumba Combo class is a 2-session class. This is included in the Unlimited Monthly classes rate. If you are using a regular punch-card, 2 punches will be required to attend. Otherwise, you may upgrade your punch and pay the difference, or use one of our Zumba Combo pricing options.**
Zumbatomic: With 100% kid-friendly songs, dances, and action, the goal of Zumbatomic is to create a fun, healthy program for children using the Zumba Fitness concept. Kids are invited to put on some comfortable clothes and shoes and come join the party!
Zumba Toning: Zumba Toning is an innovative muscle training program with the addition of light weight toning sticks. In a relatively short period of time, this challenging workout helps in building coordination and muscle endurance. This class is open to everyone, no previous dance or Zumba class experience necessary.
